About the Range
The Amanzimyama Pistol & Rifle Range is a fully registered range, certified by the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications – AZC 2011/021. The range is utilized by The South African Police Service, KZN Hunters and Conservation Association Members, Kokstad Shooting Club Members and other members of the public. The Range has been registered with NHSA as an official range enabling NAT Shoot members to submit postal shoots done at the range.
FIREARM SAFETY
TEN COMMANDMENTS OF FIREARM SAFETY:

Make safety a habit –you can’t recall a speeding bullet.

Point firearms only at your target or in a safe direction.

Check the barrel and action for obstructions, after having ensured the gun is unloaded.

Treat all firearms as if they are loaded and cocked.

Store weapons unloaded in a safe place.

Firearms are not for playing games.

Know and use only the right, clean and dry ammunition.

Ricochets can be dangerous –don’t shoot at hard flat surfaces or water.

Think clearly before pulling a trigger –never handle a gun during or after alcohol use.

Teach your family the proper use of firearms –knowledge breeds respect.
Club Memberships
All memberships include range and registration fees for all official KSC shoots held.
*Calculated on a minimum of 10 shoots per year.
Membership Terms & Conditions
A Family member is a sub member under a Main Members membership and is not entitled to vote at AGM and Special General Meetings. A Family Member must be a direct family member, either spouse or children of the main member. No more than 4 Family Members can be registered under a single Main Member.
Membership Fees are reviewed annually and approved at the AGM or Special General meeting by means of majority vote. Membership fees are paid in advance per Annum for the financial year of the KSC from February to February. Membership fees for new members joining after February 2020 will be calculated pro-rata for the remainder of the active year.
Membership is only valid once paid in full and approved by the Kokstad Shooting Club Executive committee.
* Main Member *
A main member is a full-fledged member entitled to vote at AGM and Special General Meetings.
* Family Membership *
A Family member is a sub member under a Main Members membership and is not entitled to vote at AGM and Special General Meetings.
